Urban poverty in India: A flourishing slum in Mumbai

The residents of Dharavi, allegedly Asia’s biggest slum, are thriving in hardship. My comments: “One may justifiably criticize this romanticized view of the urban slum life and may also suspect an intention to justify it to some extent. But the writer must be complimented for bringing to life excellently the feel of life in Dharavi. Well written.”
